We can assess your exterior cleaning requirements and, if necessary, we will use specialist cleaning solutions and a low-pressure system to effectively clean exterior surfaces. This is a gentle clean and utilised on less robust surfaces.
Exterior Surfaces Soft Washing
Soft washing has revolutionised the roof and exterior cleaning industry by allowing more carefully metered chemical solutions to be applied to building surfaces for the benefit of cleaning surfaces chemically without pressure.
Soft washing is a cleaning method using low pressure and specialised solutions (typically bleach, biocide, water, and sometimes a surfactant) to safely remove mildew, bacteria, algae and other organic stains from roofs and other building exteriors.
The UK has a wet climate: algae, fungi mould and mildew are prevalent across the exterior areas of our homes and places of work. The standard practice to clean these buildings has mainly been to pressure clean and then paint over the dirt and growth.
Pressure washing in this situation often causes irreversible damage to the exterior building and surfaces; it simply erodes the surface, drives existing spores deeper in and increases the spread and growth of algae and fungi.
Contrastingly, the benefits of soft washing are:
- Pre-treatment targets an infestation
- Prevents damage
- A more sustainable cleaning method
- System chemicals are biodegradable
- It is fully COSHH compliant
- Has a low environmental footprint
Cladding Cleaning
Cladding cleaning is usually achieved by soft washing. If you are looking for cladding cleaning local to Monmouthshire and the surrounding areas, please get in touch today.
Where possible we can clean from ground level using telescopic poles and water feeds. However, if ground access is not possible, we are IPAF and PASMA licensed, so mobile elevated platforms and mobile towers are other access options.
Signage Cleaning
We understand the need for clean signage.
Clean signs are essential for branding and for promoting your business in a competitive world where impressions matter. Clean signs are also vital for road safety.
Signs can become soiled by both organic and inorganic factors, depending on their location. Algae, traffic fumes, dust, graffiti, and bird droppings all contribute to a sign becoming illegible.
Whilst in most instances a high-pressure wash will not damage signs, our soft wash is often the better option as the results usually last about three times longer, plus our low pressure mobile units bring their own power and water supply to even remote locations.
Prices vary depending on the location, access, height, dimensions and degree of soiling.
